The twigs of conifers are adorned with needles, the equivalent of leaves on deciduous trees. A natural extract of needles is obtained after distillation. Its fragrance is woody and deliciously honeyed. There are also notes of moss and undergrowth. A memory of a walk in the forest on a carpet of soft needles in the middle of summer.
